Come join us for an Ayurvedic transition into Winter!

Seasonal Cleansing, Rejuvenation & Transition – Ayurveda teaches us that most sickness occurs at the juncture of the seasons. The reason? We accumulate ama (toxins) throughout each season. Unless we intentionally release our accumulated ama and rejuvenate our tissues , we are more likely to become sick as the ama that the new season creates is added to our accumulated ama. We will also learn how to prevent excessive accumulation of ama in every season by learning what foods, oils, herbs and activities are best for each season, and how to practice safe and easy ways to keep our tissues and sense organs cleansed and renewed on a daily basis.

Ayurveda Workshop Series: Seasonal Cleansing, Rejuvenation & Transition – Ayurveda teaches us that most sickness originates at the juncture of the seasons. The reason? The accumulation of ama (toxins) in our bodies. In this series of four workshops (one at each change of season), we will learn how to release our accumulated ama and rejuvenate our tissues to prevent illness. Ayurevda calls this seasonal cleansing process Pancha Karma. In addition, we will learn how to prevent future accumulation of ama by learning what foods, oils, herbs and activities are best for our unique constitutions, and also for each new season.
